New Zealand taxi drivers tell their stories.

Migrant Journeys was inspired by the book of the same name, written by Adrienne Jansen and Liz Grant for Bridget Williams Books. The series was recorded and produced by Michael Wilson for Arrow FM, with the assistance of the authors. The stories are first hand accounts, told with warmth, humour, drama and great generosity by the following Kiwis…

1: Sokun from Cambodia.

2: Suia from Mulinu’u in Samoa.

3: Sukhdev, a Sikh from the Punjab region of India.

4: Nena from Pristina in the region of Kosovo.

5: Helmi from Bagdhad in Iraq.

The radio series of Migrant Journeys was produced with the assistance of a grant from the Office of Ethnic Communities, and with the permission of the authors and Bridget Williams Books –  https://www.bwb.co.nz/

The preceeding description was taken from the Arrow FM website. The shows are made available for on-demand listening with the permission of Arrow FM.
